I now have been waiting 4 months to get my unused retainer money back. After the review I left on the Fleming Island location about my horrible experience with the billing department on this matter, I received a voicemail on 6/17 from Alexis saying that my credit was finally approved and that I should see my credit back on my card within 7-10 business days. Once that period had lapsed with no communication, I called to check the status. Wasn’t able to get ahold of anyone as usual. Then someone from the Orange Park office called me last week and informed me that because it has been over six months since my card was used last, they were unable to credit my card back and they would need to send me a check instead. She asked if I would like to pick it up or have it mailed. I obviously have no faith in the people of this office to get something in the mail and receive it within a timely manner, so I opted to go pick it up. She said she would call once it was ready. Since that was the beginning of last week, and I have had nothing but radio silence, I called again to get an update on the status. Again, I had to leave a message with the receptionist, and I still have not gotten a call back. I am beyond astonished at how poorly this law office handles their accounting. This is absolutely absurd. I can’t for the life of me figure out why this is so hard?? Do you treat all your clients this way? I cannot under any circumstance recommend Owenby Law, unless you are ok with leaving your unused money in their hands.

I want to take a moment to thank Kyra Lucas Millbrook for her professionalism and patience with me. As an 82 year old woman, patience is the best thing you can offer someone my age. Her kindness and patience is unmatched. You can easily tell that she loves her job and she takes it very seriously. Thanks again, Kyra.
