My wife entered this country, without inspection, through the southern border in December 1986. At that time, everything was very different from what we know today. In 1997, excited by the events of her life, she and some friends went to see a lawyer who had a radio show. And that's where her tragedy began, which later became ours when I married her in 1999. And it was only Linda Oberg-Braun who was able to resolve it more than 20 years later. During all this time, what we suffered is indescribable. Before joining Linda, we worked with two lawyers, neither of whom lacked experience and merit. Both were well-known in Miami and beyond. But Linda, besides her wisdom, also possessed love. And it's that combination that made the difference. I'm overwhelmed with emotion, and I can't express myself fully. I'll have to come back another day.
