It has been 18mo since my Father passed away. Mr Nyweide was extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. My situation is different than alot. My Father hired him to update his will in 2020. At that time He was diagnosed with Cancer. I am the only living heir that my Father had. I was told that everything would be taken care of and the executor of the will, will handle all the paperwork. Since that day 1/24/2022 I called Dr Nyweide multiple times, only to be put off by Holly his assistant. Not only was everything not filed correctly, he chose to not assist in the will which he was responsible for enforcing. I had to hire an attorney to try to get any information. $5k later the estate is still NOT closed or probated. His lack of knowledge, excuses of unprofessionalism and lack of integrity is one for the books. A small town talks and as an attorney should be progressional in everyway. NOT talk to friends and family about client. Not only did this man not know me, he spoke to people in the town sharing information that was NO ones business. DO NOT HIRE HIM! As you can see from his previous reviews this tends to be his MO. Save yourself the heartache of using him and not having it done correctly!

They failed to return a call about their inheritance check, until several years laters the family members has deceased. At which point, the bank has eaten through funds because of lack of transactions, this is the error of this firm and their culpability.

The monies that were lost should not come at the expense of the survivor/receiver of the check. The law firm ought to compensate, the law firm, lawyers and associates, who failed to do their job.

When banks "eat away" at funds, and you tell me it is "what is left," it is a solid indication that a great deal of time has transpired that you failed to follow up and to do your job effectively.

I would not recommend for their services, lest this happen to you as well.
