Thanks to Carly Shipp, our bankruptcy case went smoothly. Her guidance and explanations and patience made the experience tolerable for us. At our age and stage of our lives we never imagined we would have to make a drastic decision such as bankruptcy, but we came through it and we are very much relieved, and can now enjoy our golden years without the worry about debt.
I was disappointed, however, with the way my appointment with Mr. Hait was conducted. Instead of giving me his undivided attention at a time of my life when I needed compassion and patience, he was multitasking to the point where I felt a bit neglected. People in and out of the office, taking phone calls and reminding everyone that he has only 20 minutes to be somewhere else.

This post from 12 years ago popped up on my phone and took me back to a time when life was pretty rough. Not only because of the bankruptcy bit the fact that my husband was suffering from a fatal disease and was on hospice at the time. He passed on jan1 2017.
