Paul Barrera was the attorney for the executor of my father’s estate. I signed a legal document at my attorneys office that was sent by Paul. When I purchased a copy of the document I signed from the Washington digital archives, I noticed that Paul had altered my signature and a part of it had been removed. He did this without my consent or knowledge. I am sure someone will respond to this review stating I have animosity towards the executor, which I do. Regardless of that, a signature can essentially be anything and regardless of how someone signs their name, it is illegal and completely unethical for an ATTORNEY (especially when it’s not even my attorney) to alter a signature in any way, shape, or form. I contacted Paul about altering my signature, trying to be civil and give him the benefit of the doubt. He has failed to respond which in my opinion shows guilt. The Washington State BAR will be hearing about his poor choice to commit an illegal and unethical act.

Very poor customer service… booked paid 30min consultation, none showed up or called, rebooked & called and finally was able to get a call. Consultation so so, chatGPt does better…. Called back to follow up for next steps… will call you back… called again, nothing… guess if you not a big fish, good luck getting any service from these guys

I paid $6,000 total in advance. After nearly a year of waiting for the attorney to do anything on the case, I was charged $3,000 in fees for absolutely NO work performed. DO NOT hire this law firm, they don't know what they are doing. Their response time is NON existent. I am very, very unhappy with the service that I was given at North City Law. They are a complete waste of time and money. They refuse to return my balance even though they did NO WORK.
I am notifying the Seattle Bar Association and the Kent County Bar Association that The North City Law firm is in violation of accepted business practices of a law firm and the way clients are treated.
