Nolan Heimann LLP

Update: within a few hours of posting this review, I received an email with a brief update. While I'm still unhappy with the process thus far, I hope this ends up bringing more of a sense of urgency moving forward and I will update this review should things change. Horrible. Today marks exactly 2 years (Yes, 2 years!) since I paid $515.00 to this firm to Copyright artwork for my online stock market game. I paid an additional $65.00 on 6/13/25 because the Copyright application had not initially been properly filed. I had originally contracted with Adam back in July of 2021 to copyright artwork for the board game version of my game. He did a great job back then and the approval came quickly. When I reached back out to him in August of 2024, I discovered that he had partnered with Nolan Heimann LLC. My experience thus far has been a waste of both time and money. I have not received a single phone call with an update in these two years from anyone associated with this firm. Instead, all correspondence has come solely through email. The last email I received was on 6/9/26 saying that an email was sent to the copyright examiner and that I would be kept posted. I have not heard a word in over two months since then. I’ve personally had to make several phone calls myself to the U.S. Copyright office to check for updates and to try to move this process along. Isn’t this supposed to be a part of the job that I paid them to do? According to my research, it’s supposed to typically take between 3-6 months for this process from start to finish. Again, this has now reached the 2-year mark as of today and there seems to be no resolution in sight. To this point, I feel like I made a huge mistake in contracting with Nolan Heiman LLP.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!! A damn Diament and Nolan Heimann LLP are the best in the business! They go above and beyond to help others with there IP needs and more! The BEST thing to ever happen to me was finding Adam’s Spotify “ Patenting for Inventors”. After years of listening to his podcast, I was finally able to make that call and get to work. He really gives you a in depth overview and understanding of the IP world. Truly, if you have a dream, chase it.
