Stick with a public defender you will be better off! When I first met with Adam I was in a vulnerable and very impressionable state, my whole world just got flipped upside down. Usually I am a good judge of character and he made me feel very comfortable like I could trust and rely on him to do his very best for my boyfriend. I have never had to hire an attorney before so I made many mistakes from the beginning. First thing was not doing my homework on a good attorney second was hiring Mr. Nemann. I thought since he was charging me $50k he has to be very good the best! Sadly that wasn’t the case with Adam. He was NEVER available for updates via phone, email, text or hand written letters. Anytime my boyfriend or I had a question regarding his case I could never get a response. The very few times he did respond after calling and emailing relentlessly he acted so annoyed and bothered by the fact that my boyfriend and I had questions and concerns that needed answers. He promised that there would be 2 attorneys on my bf’s case which never happened. It’s been almost 2 years since my bf’s case was opened 6 months since his sentencing and he has yet to receive his discovery packet!!!! He hasn’t received any paperwork regarding his case not one single document!!! The only time Mr. Nemann reached out was when he was calling for money. Hiring him brought more stress and anxiety to a already bad situation. One of my biggest regrets in life was trusting and hiring
Mr. Nemann we were better off with a public defender would have saved a lot of money and definitely would have got a better outcome.
