The NLPA was a Godsend to my family. I can't thank them enough for all they did to help my son. From the beginning, the NLPA gave my son and me hope. Mr. Robinson is compassionate about righting a wrong. We need more people and places like NLPA. Thank you all, and God bless you.

Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude to NLPA for the extraordinary legal representation and unwavering advocacy they are providing for our son, who has been unjustly incarcerated.

From the very beginning, NLPA has demonstrated not only legal excellence but genuine compassion and humanity. They have gone above and beyond the call of duty in addressing the serious injustices occurring at High Desert State Prison. What we have witnessed is deeply troubling — a hostile and dangerous environment allegedly fueled by unprofessional conduct, including the disclosure of inmates’ charges and inappropriate housing decisions. Non-violent inmates placed with violent offenders, rival gang members housed together, and individuals with no gang affiliation — like our son — placed among hardened gang members. These actions create chaos rather than safety.

Our son raised legitimate concerns for his safety, including fears regarding a specific individual employed at the facility. Despite his disclosures, his concerns were disregarded. Instead of protection, he endured punitive measures that we believe were inhumane — including being forced out of protective housing under conditions that left him without power, in darkness, and unable to maintain basic sanitation. No human being should be subjected to circumstances that break the spirit or threaten mental stability.

Through all of this, NLPA has stood firmly by our son’s side. They listened when others would not. They investigated when others dismissed. They acted when others ignored. In the words of Mr. Wess, they have “called in the cavalry,” using every legal avenue available to ensure our son’s safety and to pursue justice.

At the same time, our family has been enduring another heartbreaking crisis. Our second-born son was placed on hospice after being diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin lymphoma and later suffering a massive stroke. He is fighting for his life. Our eldest son had no knowledge of his brother’s most recent medical battles, yet NLPA understands the urgency and the human weight of this moment. They are working tirelessly with the hope that our firstborn may have the chance to see his younger brother during this critical time.

Despite some reviews others may read, we chose to base our decision on our own experience — and we are profoundly grateful that we did. Our experience with NLPA has been one of integrity, courage, responsiveness, and true advocacy.

As a family grounded in faith, we continually pray for guidance, wisdom, and understanding. We believe those prayers were answered when NLPA entered our lives. We thank Jehovah for leading us to a legal team that not only represents our son but fights for him as if he were their own.

With sincere gratitude,
A Thankful Family 🙏🏽

I think they really care about the defendants. He has shown me a way of helping my son when I couldn't pay it all at once. He's been really patient with me.thank you. I love this firm Mr Robinson always has time for me to bounce my ideas off of him. He always makes me feel cared about as well as they care about Donald William Myers 3rd. My son's case I hired them for. I feel like they have our back and that's hard to find when the Angola Indiana cops shot my son and let him lay there for several hours before they would help him when they finally brought him out he was wrapped in big rolls of material his shoulder got blew almost all the way off and his bladder was blew apart he was unconscious didn't even bat an eye then they Air lifted him to fort Wayne Indiana. They testified that he was sane because he didn't want to talk to the cops it wasn't him that said that we as his mother brother and lots more family members wouldn't let them go in his room helpless against them. Put me in jail for telling them they're not going in my son's room to question him without a lawyer he wasn't in his right mind due to being off his meds he is only one that got hurt and if my son shot at people someone else would of got hurt he's a dead on target like that his mom we had our own target practiceing field when we lived in shoals Indiana in the woods thank you all for making my son a priority God bless you all Judy wininger
