We recently retained Patrick Murphy of Murphy Law Firm, PLLC to update/replace our estate planning documents. Working with Patrick Murphy was a great experience. I loved being able to meet digitally and in person. Patrick and I talked about expectations over a Zoom type meeting. He went over definitions and gave me an idea of what papers, accounts, and information that an Estate Plan needed. Then he sent me a digital survey to fill out. From the survey he constructed a plan to build my Estate with a graphic diagram that made so much sense to me (I'm a visual learner). And based on this information we had a clear cut Revocable Living Trust plan, estimated time for completion, and a quote for services. The best part of this process was the ease of getting Patrick on the phone or email to answer my many questions. The process took about 6 weeks for my Plan. I now have a complete Plan (both digital and a print notebook) that includes: Overview; Revocable Living Trust; Pour-Over Will; Nominations; Personal/Financial Information; Funding Instructions; Power of Attorney; Certificate of Trust; Trust Assets; Health Care Power of Attorney; Living Will; Memorial Instructions; Personal Effects disposition; and other Documents for my successor Trustee. I also have a great peace of mind and know that if anything should change, I can call Patrick Murphy at any time.
