MP2 Placidi & Parini

This is my second tome hiring Attorney Matthew Parini. This time, Matt represented me in a ridiculous dispute that has been ongoing for years. I was charged with a criminal offense of "Disturbing the Peace". This was from my very mentally distraught, elderly neighbor, against me, calling the police saying, I "had a noise machine emitting nature sounds, being played loudly at night, all night, all spring and summer". It allegedly was keeping her from sleeping and she had photos, an audio recording on her phone, and a note from her doctor ". It was in reality, a single toad doing mating calls in my koi pond. Just nature. Several times the police came to our door after 10pm abd found nothing. She still kept calling the police on me. I was not going to this trial without an attorney! At first, I was given an attorney who unexpectedly left the firm, so he graciously took over my case. I had filed a "Right To Know" with our police department for records of ALL THE POLICE CALLS to my home, but many were left out. I asked him to subpoena them, which we did get. The police officer actually stood up for ME, and the judge ruled "NOT GUILTY"! Matt knocked it out of the park in his usual style. The ruling concluded, if she ever calls said Police Department again with these ridiculous charges, SHE will be fined and charged with harrassment. Matt, you are our knight in shining armor, even though it seemed ridiculous, it was still a real nuisance and horrible to live through. He was professional, objected right when he needed to, got her letter thrown out as hearsay, and was on top of everything. We highly recommend this law firm.
