When the going gets tough, this law firm backs out on you. I came here for help in resolving some issues on the formation of an LLC. We've done two consultations - one to scope out the work and another more formalized meeting with a more senior lawyer. After about a week of having engaged their services, they called to say that they found a basic securities issue that needed to be addressed before moving forward.

That would have been fine. But they also said that the case is bigger than they thought and that they do not have the resources to carry the load because they have other bigger cases to handle. And that in order to proceed, I needed to pay several thousand dollars more to go through a process to fix it.

So, they've used up a couple of thousand dollars in retainer fee just to tell me they're unable to proceed bec. of their case load. And that after two long meetings, they failed to scope out some very basic securities issues from the very beginning.

As it turned out, this securities issue they spoke of was a non-issue (as confirmed by two other law firms). Morgan Franich Fredkin and Marsh wanted me to pay several thousand dollars more to address an issue that does not even apply to my situation.

I paid this firm couple of thousand dollars and got none of the service I signed up for. Stay away. This firm really gives lawyers a bad name.
