Second time I have utilized Miskell Law and Eric himself. When i first utilized Eric he completely turned my child support case 180 degrees and did so quickly. I cannot thank him enough for how he handled my case and the final outcome. I tried on my own and kept getting my butt kicked. A lot more to that story but the outcome was more than I could ever thought possible. I just recently utilized his services again and one meeting it was over , settled. I thought it was gonna be a battle but hell yeah! He got it done!!! Highly recommended…..just make sure you get him what he asks for ASAP and he gets after it. Do not recommend. Represented me for a year and a half, because I thought I wouldn't find anyone better, and in that time, I felt pressured to agree to things I was strongly against, was told I wouldn't get anything I wanted or needed to protect and secure mine and my child's future. Even with police reports, DCFS, etc. involved I was told I need to just deal with the opposing party getting what they wanted and to pay up. Communication with Eric Miskell was none existent, I seemed to be more of a nuisance for him than a client and any conversation with him directly, which was rare, felt like he needed to just get me off the phone or out of the office. Spend the extra money and find a more competent lawyer outside of Lasalle County. The only good thing here was the paralegal Melanie, she seemed to actually care and try, which is more than I can say for Eric.
