This place is an absolute joke, specifically Knox and his paralegal, Marina. During the initial consultation, Knox seemed like the right fit. He told stories and made everything sound like it would be smooth and straightforward. He even suggested that I could expect money back from my retainer once my divorce was finalized. That never happened. Communication was one of the biggest issues. The staff was often unresponsive, yet I was billed for follow-up emails when they failed to respond in the first place. To make matters worse, confidential personal information belonging to both my ex and me was sent to someone else, while we received information related to a completely different case. This was a serious breach of privacy and professionalism. I was also billed for clerical errors that their office made and then had to correct. On top of that, I was charged for three hours of Knox’s time spent in court on a case that wasn’t even mine. My divorce was about as simple as it gets. Both parties agreed on everything, and there were no major disputes. Despite that, the billing felt excessive and unjustified throughout the process. Based on my experience, Knox and Marina were unprofessional, disorganized, and frustrating to work with. I cannot speak for anyone else at the firm, but I would strongly recommend that potential clients look elsewhere. Save yourself the time, money, and headaches.
