My experience with Mary Ayala as my son's minor's counsel was one of the most devastating experiences of my life. Before Tier 3 mediation, the court approved her request to pick my son up from his father's home and bring him to the courthouse. Instead, she took him to breakfast before mediation. Later, while they were waiting for mediation, she gave my son $80, which she later acknowledged in an email was a birthday gift. I believed these actions were inappropriate and I raised my concerns at the time, but I did not feel they were adequately addressed. My son was removed from my custody when he was seven years old. I was never the subject of a CPS case, I have no criminal history, and I tested negative for the drug and alcohol allegations that had been made against me before he was removed. From my perspective, the outcome was deeply unfair and has permanently changed my life. My son will turn 11 on October 21, and I have not been able to see or speak with him since he was seven years old. This review reflects my personal experience and my opinions about how my case was handled. Warning ⚠️ Find an outside attorney to represent your family, someone not getting paid from the inside or making payment to judges ..Thier job is to take your money send you to program after program just to lose all custody..i do have proof of this happening.
