Full disclosure-My parents paid for these services. Initially I thought the services I was receiving were adequate. The reports that he was a shark were true. However, over time of repeating myself numerous times and him writing it down, he still failed to follow through. The secretary does most of his work for him screening and prioritize your sensitive data. Mr. Schmitt forced me into settling and created an even worse plan. Talking to my ex neither of those two in that office were able to give either one of us remotely what we had asked for. Mr. Schmitt lied to my face and my parents and had to be reminded that I also kept a document trail and sent it to him in which he did not reply. He pushed for trial too soon and kept referencing something that was pointless with a trial 2 days away. Child support court failed to show. No biggie, mistakes happen. Initially it was going to be less and offer was sent and never presented to me. Now paying more child support when I could have paid half and then paid for things for my child. If you’ve committed a crime or suspected I’m sure he’s great. However he can’t determine what a breach of confidentiality is and unless you hold something over his head nothing will get done. The man is over worked and his caseload is too big for him. I’d stick to someone who’s going to care and want what’s best for your family. Good luck !
