Unfortunately, my experience with Miami Legal Firm was extremely disappointing. My case took almost a year to resolve, and for a long time there seemed to be very little progress unless I was personally calling, emailing, and pushing for updates. One of the biggest problems was the communication and handling of my case by the staff working with Danay. On several occasions, I was told one thing, while Danay was apparently being given a completely different version of what had been communicated to me. Eventually, I started contacting the medical providers myself to verify what I was being told, and I discovered multiple inconsistencies between what the clinics told me directly and what I had been told by the office. Unfortunately, those issues continued until the very end. Most recently, because I have not been feeling well, I sent a message asking whether my partner could be authorized to pick up my check for me. My message was never answered, yet I later learned that they said that I had never sent such a request at all. After everything I experienced, I do believe a significant part of the problem is the way her staff handles communication and cases. When I began confronting the inconsistencies with information I had personally verified, some members of the staff including Danay became extremely rude and defensive rather than simply addressing my concerns. I should not have had to personally call clinics, verify statements, repeatedly follow up, and keep records of my own communications just to determine what was actually happening with my case. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this firm. If you have other options, I strongly suggest considering them. No client should have to work this hard just to get accurate information and movement on their own case.
