Hiring Men’s Legal Center was the legal equivalent of self-castration. Melody was consistently late, disorganized, and nearly impossible to get responses from whenever I needed answers or updates about my case. Most of the staff there seem to have the same issue. Deadlines, communication, and preparation felt chaotic and last minute. I spent more time wondering what was going on with my own case than actually feeling represented. To put things into perspective, I’m now court-ordered to pay alimony for longer than the actual duration of my marriage. Read that again slowly. Longer than the marriage itself. Somehow this was presented as a reasonable outcome. If your goal is to spend thousands of dollars to feel ignored, unprepared, and completely steamrolled in court, then by all means hire them. I walked away feeling like nobody was actually fighting for me, and the results speak for themselves.

I came to Men's Legal after my first lawyer, a "flat-rate" lawyer, made my situation worse than if I literally would have done nothing... Legitimately not showing up at all for hearing would have been better than my first lawyer.
