				Mr. Krimko is representing me in a landlord/tenant suit and has been wonderful.  He has taken the fear out of the proceeding and helped me fully understand my rights.  He is extremely professional and clearly knowledgeable in all things legal pertaining to landlords and tenants.  He is friendly and easy to work with, prompt, and attentive to detail. 				The attorney was really rude and very unprofessional. I paid up front for a certain amount of court appearances and signed a contract with him. I saw him in court once( he came literally last last-minute with absolutely no preparation before), after which he informed me that he would not need my presence in the courtroom and proceeded to agree with everything and all terms other party had set. The last court appearance he refused to do and also refused to refund my money.

				I have had the pleasure of having to defend myself against the unscrupulous tactics of Melvin Krimko on numerous occasions.  I am longterm tenant of a rent stabilized building and Krimko represents my management company.  He has taken me to court numerous times over money that he claimed I owed, but I did not.  I had check records to prove it every time.  One such dispute entailed three separate court dates.  I am gleeful when I think about how much he must have billed my landlords for this pathetic attempt to remove me from my still fairly priced apartment.  In addition he routinely sends poorly written threatening letters, fraught with spelling and grammar errors.  Sometimes, it is clear he didn't even change a name from a previous use of the template. 



If you are an slumlord looking to bully non-native english speaking tenants who might not be aware of their rights, Krimko is the man for you. If you have a large legal budget and don't mind blowing through a retainer with frivolous court proceedings, Krimko is the man for you.  If you are a law abiding, rent paying individual who finds him or herself on the receiving end of his tactics, don't worry, just go to court, bring your records and fight back.
