I have been managing my parents affairs for many years and “thought” I had everything figured out…until my step father passed and then things went a little sideways. Thank God for the exceptional knowledge and patience of Mr. McLaurin in helping me sort through all the details. Mr. McLaurin went through many different scenarios with me regarding a myriad of details of which I had never thought. Five stars just doesn’t seem enough for the help I received today! Thank you!

Thorough and professional staff!

I had to select one star, but if I could, I would give zero. I wouldn’t trust this office to watch my dog. A close friend hired them to help with a custody matter involving her ex-husband’s ongoing and concerning behavior. During their representation, he had pending charges including communicating threats, illegal use of a phone, criminal domestic violence, unlawful entry, destruction of property, and harassment. He was even required to wear an ankle monitor twice and was only permitted supervised visitation with his children.

This firm was not her legal counsel for his criminal charges against her, they were hired to assist in modifying the custody agreement from the original divorce decree. Did they help? Unfortunately, no. After two years and roughly $20,000 in legal fees, nothing meaningful was accomplished. My friend was forced to settle and actually lost $100 per month in child support.

Throughout those two years, she consistently provided evidence supporting her concerns, yet it seemed to make no difference. Meanwhile, her ex-husband represented himself—and still prevailed.

This was a complete failure by the law firm. It felt as though they simply did not care. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for legal representation.
