To anyone seeking legal help: "I feel compelled to share my experience with McKendrick Law, particularly as it relates to my family law case. I strongly advise everyone to avoid "McKendrick Law Firm", McKendrick is extremely unprofessional and unhelpful throughout the entire process. I would caution anyone considering them—not just for family law, but for any legal matter.

From the beginning, they were very eager to take on my case. However, once I signed the contract and paid the retainer, their level of engagement dropped significantly. I received minimal communication and no guidance at all. For example, I was sent an affidavit form to complete without any explanation or assistance on how to properly fill it out.

Throughout my divorce proceedings, I was left to navigate important steps—such as mediation and court hearings—on my own. I only discovered scheduled hearings by contacting the court myself. In fact, I missed a court date entirely because I was never informed by McKendrick Law.

My case required two hearings. I only attended the final one because McKendrick law firm never informed me, and I only know after I have contacted the courthouse directly. Even after the hearing, critical documents were withheld from me. I only found out about them after my ex-wife informed me of a shortage in the payment details for our child, and she send me a screenshot of that particular section, which I should have received from my own attorney.

After receiving an email from my wife stating she will email both her attorney, that leads me to understand that she has been in touch with my attorney for the entire process. Meanwhile, he consistently failed to keep me informed or send me necessary documents. The only correspondence I reliably received were invoices—promptly prepared and mailed—showing they had time to bill me, but not to properly handle my case.

In my experience, McKendrick Law acted more like opportunistic bill collectors than legal professionals. I highly recommend that you all seek for legal help elsewhere, but not McKendrick law at all. I urge anyone seeking legal representation with other law firm, McKendrick will not fight for your case, as a money chaser, he will only considers making the money, a shame for anyone practicing law as he does.
