About a month ago, I had a paid consultation with this law group and was provided a quote for representation. I explained that I planned to proceed with mediation first and would hire them if court became necessary. A month later, I called back to move forward and was initially given the same quoted price. However, after being placed on a brief hold, I was told the cost had increased by $2,000 because the matter was now considered an “active case.” This was never disclosed during my initial consultation. When I raised concerns about the lack of transparency and explained that this information should have been communicated upfront, the call was abruptly ended by the receptionist after I stated I would be seeking another attorney. This experience was disappointing due to both the unexpected fee increase and the unprofessional handling of the situation.

I hired Matthew Harris for my divorce and custody of children and it was the best decision I could of made.
