Judy was my real estate lawyer in a sale of a condo in jersey city. I was selling it remotely from CA.
1. Zero proactive communication. The closing took three months. There was never an update unless I asked for it.
2. Though I provided bank wire details, she collected a regular cheque from the title insurance company for the sale price at the closing. Mailed the cheque overnight but did not share tracking number. I wasted all of next day waiting for the cheque and the cheque arrived the day after. If I had the tracking number, I would have known about the delay.
3. My bank, Chase bank put a 10-day hold on the amount before i could use it because it was a regular cheque NOT cashier's cheque. When I reached out to her for help, she did not do anything to talk to the title insurance company to get the check released.

I would not use her for any real estate transaction in future. My realtor also agreed and does not plan to ever use her again.

Jodi helped me and my partner purchase a home earlier this year, and I cannot recommend her enough. She is one of the most responsive people I have ever come across, often responding to our emails in mere seconds. Throughout the entire process, she explained things very clearly to us and was incredibly efficient.

Jodi also took things to the next level when I got stuck at the bank trying to get my check for closing. The bank was in the same building as the closing, so Jodi came downstairs with all the paperwork and had me start signing in front of the bank teller while they cut my check — now that’s commitment to getting the job done! If Jodi hadn’t gone above and beyond, we likely would have had to move our closing. We’re so grateful for all her help!
