Mariana L Hanna Law Office

Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this attorney or her office. If you are considering hiring legal representation for an immigration matter, I strongly encourage you to do thorough research before trusting this firm with your case, your finances, and most importantly, your freedom and future.
Throughout my case, I experienced repeated communication issues, misinformation, and what I felt was a lack of professionalism. The attorney's secretary, is a family member. Although I believe it is very admirable that she is trying to help out family by giving them a job, unfortunately her secretary/cousin (Laz) does not understand the severity of her job position. Frequently provided inaccurate information and, in my experience, made statements that later proved to be untrue. On multiple occasions, I was threatened with being dropped as a client, even when I was simply trying to get answers and clarification regarding my case.
One of the most concerning issues involved my court dates. I was told that the courthouse was responsible for repeatedly extending my hearings. However, after contacting the courthouse directly, I was informed that the continuances were being requested by my attorney's office. When I raised this concern, I was told that I was making the office look unprofessional, despite the fact that I was only seeking accurate information about my own case. Thats is when she threatened to drop me as a client if I ever called the court house again. The reason I called the court house was because she went unresponsive and I did not have any other choice.
I also experienced situations where the office appeared unprepared and where important information was provided at the last minute. In one instance, I was notified about a court appearance only two day's before the hearing despite living across the country, making it extremely difficult to prepare and travel on such short notice.
Legal representation is not something people hire for minor matters. Clients place their trust, freedom, finances, and future in the hands of their attorney. I do not believe this office handled those responsibilities appropriately.
My advice to prospective clients is simple: proceed with caution, ask questions, verify information independently whenever possible, and carefully consider whether this is the right office to entrust with your case and your future.
Lastly I'm aware that anytime she gets a bad review from one of her clients she responds with: This is a false statement from a former client that was dropped for harassment and or making threats. In this case, this is not true I allowed her to finish her representation and actually got my green card, but it took roughly around eight years. After numerous threats of dropping me as a client. She was upset because I told her since the first false statement her office made I started recording all calls and to this day I still have all recordings and will gladly share them with ANYONE!

You were unresponsive so I called the court house and had to ask for myself when my new court date was and what information they had about my case. I asked them why do they keep continuing my court date and the court house advised me it was you who asked for continuances not them. You then threatened to drop me as a client if I ever called the court house again. Your exact words were "You're making US (us as in yourself and I. It was you that looked unprofessional, not me and rightfully so) look unprofessional. If you ever call the courthouse again I will drop you as my client" also you know very well that I recorded every conversation because I told you about it (not to mention another time you threatened to drop me as a client) I was honest, I told you "I'm recording all conversations because I keep getting nothing but lies from your secretary" you were clearly upset beacuse you knew then not only were you wrong but I had proof! As to the cousin part, you mentioned she was family wheater through blood or marriage what ever the case may be she's not competent at her job.

She frequently changes the address and edits reviews. Mariana is extremely unprofessional, and everything she does seems last-minute. She also claims that any comment she doesn’t like is fake. I hope she can accept feedback and work on improving her office. Based on my experience, she does not deserve a 1 star rating

I highly recommend the Law Offices of Mariana L. Hanna. She is very professional, knowledgeable, personable, and kind hearted. In the past anytime I needed her counsel she always has given me the best advise, and the best results in and out of the court.
