No stars!!!! Left my kid in a dangerous situation for over ten years after he said I owed him $20,000.00 more when he promised he only needed $50,000.00 more. Left me high and dry on the stand and it destroyed my child. Now, im repairing all that damage and it is inconceivable.

I can agree with other negative reviews. I was Threatened for money or Marcus would not continue. He took every dollar and I had no choice but to use him because he had taken all my money I would have to use to hire another attorney. He in my opinion is extremely dishonest. He was not truthful in many respects to me. He caused my son to fire him and called my son racist. My son has schizophrenia and was unable to make decisions. Marcus in my opinion was tired of the case and dumped my son off on the public defender. Literally will not return calls. Will not pay attention and make sure the life of the individual he represents is properly represented. He went on vacation. Never notified us. I showed up to a court date he canceled without notice. He’s not the attorney anyone should ever hire if you want a fair representation.. There is so much more wrong with this individual. Beware.
In my pov He won’t fight for you. He will fail for you.

They will rob you of your money. I originally hired their firm to assist with my child custody case back in 2019. I was given a rate of 4500 for the case. Here we are 2024 and they are holding me hostage to complete my case I've already paid a total of 8500 and they want another 4080 dollars. During the whole time I've been the one running around gathering docs and brining the other party to the table. The only legal document that was produced by attorney Limon and her assistant Diane has been 1 stipulations of my son living with me. That's its, which costed around 8k to produce. Now, we are 4 years later and they are attempting make me sign a waiver of substitution of attorney. All that is left to do is FL626 form with the other parent. I do not recommend Marcus Group, they only are there to take your money. Attorney limon seemed to be on a substance with her actions. The are over rated and should not be used if you are on any income.

Marcus Law has fraudulently charged multiple credit card charges to a dying man's (stage 4 colon cancer) credit card while he was on chemotherapy.

Marcus had no business or authorization making these fraudulent charges as my father terminated his relationship with Marcus and completely fulfilled financial obligations with Marcus well before these fraudulent credit card charges were made and before going into major cancer surgery.

In my opinion, Ethan Marcus is the most unethical attorney I have ever come across in my many interactions with attorneys of law.

I have filed a complaint with the CA Bar and am now working with my counsel on next steps in addressing the fraud that has been committed against my dying father while he was battling terminal cancer.

If you are looking for a law firm to take all of your money, get you sanctioned from the judge, abandon your case and threaten you for more money, then this is the law firm for you!

However, if you are looking for a law firm to help you instead of the opposing party, then you want to find a different law firm!

If you are looking for a law firm with some sort of humanity, then you definitely should find anyone else other than Marcus Family Law!

If you do decide to hire Marcus Family Law, then be prepared to lose all of your money and have them screw you in the end!
