My trust attorney recommended Mr. Shular. He seemed professional and competent. The case dragged on for several years and was, I thought, resolved. Years later I discovered that a "divorce decree" had not been issued. Still later, I attained retirement age and the absence of a "divorce decree" became a roadblock, I needed to rectify the issue to collect my pension. Mr. Shular provided me with a copy of some kind of note from the court which my former employer rejected. Not acceptable. Long story short, I had to engage ANOTHER attorney and ended up spending as much money as I had with Mr. Shular to get a court date and obtain paperwork, the missing "divorce decree" to collect my pension. So I am not able to recommend Mr. Shular. It was a train wreck. Again, he seemed competent. I cannot explain why he, in a word, failed to perform initially and later failed to correct his actions, leaving me up a creek. "Disappointed" is not a strong enough word.
