Amazing attorney. He's a straight shooter and might not have the best bedside manner but who cares. HE DELIVERS. He got my fiance out of Rikers Island from a large bail amount to ROR status. I can't say enough wonderful things about this man. He goes above and beyond for his clients.

Update: 2025 This man is absolutely incredible. He got my husband out on ROR status like I said from a high bail amount and he wouldn't back down as far as the disposition of the case. He saw what the case against my(now) husband(we tied the knot since his release from Rikers) and he saw that it was all smoke and mirrors. We were willing to settle to have my husband plead out and get time served but that wasn't good enough for Mr Laykind. He got the whole case THROWN OUT and my husband didnt have to deal with probation or be on any kind of paper from that disposition. Mr Laykind originally said the queens DA wanted a misdemeanor(which my husband and I would have been fine with) but even that was too much for this pitbull of a lawyer. My husband had a bunch of high felonies(non-violent) and was looking at serious time upstate but this amazing attorney got everything TOSSED. If I or my husband ever need a criminal defense attorney(hopefully not) I know who I am calling!!!
