They ARE NOT in this profession to help or protect people. I was begging Candace Bartholomew for help, A life was lost because of this. This system is very broken, we need change.

First I would like to recognize Ena, she is a fantastic employee and we all are lucky to have someone like her that is not afraid to be thorough and do the work. Ena uncovered many issues and is actively working to resolve them for me. She is the only reason this is not a 1 star review. As for the bad stuff, Manatee severely dropped the ball after the case in which I was the “victim” left the hands of the detectives and police officers. Once in the system, all three defendants cases have been dragged out for almost a year. In that year, I have called the SAO to correct my current address at least twice, I have called to try to get my property released at least three times, and I have called to notify them I have not been receiving communications about the status of restitution multiple times as well. Now come to find out they have begun to close the cases without even trying to do the correct steps to get me the restitution the defendants agreed to pay, or my property released either. I am so grateful to have gotten Ena on the phone today, there is finally an end in sight with her working to fix mistakes of previous attorneys and I’m assuming her coworkers as well.

DA Officer really helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone in office way nice and helpful as well.
