				It was 20y ago now, found this company on searching for a settlement atty to purchase my first home. Then, a few years later, my divorce atty. All of my experiences at that time were first rate and their fees were the best in NOVA area. I dealt with Mark mostly for both of these proceedings. Now I understand his father has retired and Mr. Scott may soon who knows.  They are still there, same location, and the staff seem to be long term.  These things and more tell me they've got what it takes to balance both their ongoing business needs with their clients interests. Which as a former small business owner, is often conflicting... I feel was right in choosing them then, and I'm considering using them again for my will / estate planning.

				Terrible and unethical law firm. If you are considering using this law firm, please save yourself the trouble and DON'T! My husband and I were dealing with a tragic custody situation with my nephew that was being transferred from Nevada. I had been dealing with our attorney's in Nevada for over a year, so I'm very familiar with the legal environment and family custody. Dealing with Robert Madigan for the short time that we did was a disaster. They charged us over $350 for the 'complimentary consultation' which they originally had told us was no charge. There are far better law firms in the area that charge the same OR LESS per hour and have ethical standards and don't lie to clients. Dealing with a difficult custody case is enough to worry about and having capable and ethical legal counsel at your side is ESSENTIAL. This is not the lawfirm you want by your side in any family matter or other legal issue.

				I went to this firm after my cousin had them do her Will.  Well, all I can say is never use this firm. They did not help me at all with the closing of the estate.  They took money upfront and when I kept asking for help they wouldn't help at all.  I had to get another attorney and he said the Will they drew up was horrible and not very complete.  He said he would have given them a C - for the Will
