Anyone know where I can get in touch with Laurie Loomis? I had a open adoption back in 2003 and never got in touch with the family who adopted my daughter. They made it as if it was a closed adoption and I didn’t agree to that.

We hired her to finalize a private adoption. She had us wire her the money right away, helped process our ICPC and did nothing else for 6 months. We lost $5k to her for just doing ICPC. She would not refund our money even though what she did for that amount of money could not be considered legal. She is dishonest and doesn't actually do anything. Steer clear. Probably any other family lawyer would be better than her. Her assistant Patty was wonderful to work with. Don't let that fool you. This woman is NOT the lawyer you want.
