Longo and Associates, LLP

We recently purchased a home and closed at this firm. We are not familiar with DE real estate firms, so we went with this firm that works with our agent. We closed over a month ago and found out a few days ago that our homeowners insurance is set to cancel due to nonpayment. Longo and Associates was supposed to mail the payment for our homeowners insurance, as we have already paid for it at closing. Not only did they send it to the **wrong address,** they didn’t include any identifying information on the check, i.e. our account number, property address, our names, etc. They didn’t even get the entire name of the insurance company correct! So the check has been cashed, and we’re not entirely sure by whom. Rather than cut another check to pay for our homeowners insurance before it is canceled, they have told us that it’s our problem to figure out! They screwed up and they want us to fix their mistake! My spouse has already spent hours on the phone going back-and-forth, trying to clean up the gigantic mess they have made. So if you don’t want to deal with gross incompetency, I would not use this firm.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Would never use them again to sell real estate or anything else.
