The staff at Livesay & Myers is incredibly courteous and professional from start to finish. They took time to answer all of our questions and made us feel valued. I highly recommend Teddi Bouffard. She was truly amazing in and out of court! Jon McHugh was absolutely wonderful, too. Tanema was very efficient and communicative, and we are so appreciative of all of her help. The whole team made the entire experience as stress free as it could possibly be.

Jonathan McHugh represented me in a custody and child support case, and I could not be happier with the outcome. From the start, he took the time to understand what mattered most to me as a father and fought hard to get it. He pushed back on unfair terms in the other side's proposed agreements, negotiated a visitation schedule and transportation arrangement that actually made sense for both parents, and got a child support and arrears structure I could realistically live with instead of one designed to set me up to fail. He was responsive every time I had a concern, walked me through my options instead of just telling me what to do, and never let anything slide that I wasn't comfortable with. Going into a custody case is stressful, but having a lawyer who actually listens and fights for you makes all the difference. I'd recommend Jonathan and Livesay & Myers to anyone dealing with a family law matter.

Honestly, if I could give 0 stars, I would. Whatever you do, don’t hire this firm. They are extremely expensive and, in my experience, seemed more focused on billing than on helping their clients. I worked with Teddi and Sunny, and I regret my decision. I spent over $12,000 on my case and was repeatedly told they could handle it. I shared how serious and urgent my situation had become, but I felt very little was done to move my case forward. After my first court hearing, they chose to withdraw from representing me, which was both surprising and disappointing. Another frustrating issue was being billed for reviewing and responding to numerous emails sent by the opposing parties. Even though I wasn’t the one initiating those communications, I was still charged for the time spent addressing them, which significantly increased my legal fees. After hiring a new attorney, I was told that my case should have been handled differently. Looking back, I wish I had known more about the firm’s experience with family law before retaining them. Had I known, I would have chosen different representation from the beginning. This was my personal experience, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this firm. For the amount I paid, I expected far better communication, advocacy, and results.
