I cannot say enough good things about Jack Litwak and the entire team at Litwak Law Group. Trash save your money. He worst than a public defender. Might as well use them. I am writing this review based on my personal experience with attorney Jamaar Williams while he has been appointed to represent me in my pending criminal cases. My primary concerns are communication, unresolved discovery, and the lack of substantive motions being filed on my behalf. I have repeatedly sent Mr. Williams specific written questions concerning discovery, evidence I believe remains outstanding, his defense strategy, and the legal issues I believe support dismissal. I have also asked him to identify which of my arguments he agrees or disagrees with and why. Many of those questions remain unanswered. Mr. Williams has personally reviewed substantial evidence with me and, in our conversations, indicated agreement with a number of the underlying issues I raised. He told me that motions I prepared needed to be refined and properly framed by counsel. My concern is that approximately two months later, I still have not seen substantive motions filed addressing those issues. Discovery has also remained an ongoing issue. On August 27, 2026, Mr. Williams forwarded additional discovery to me and wrote, “Just received this.” This occurred while I was still raising concerns about whether discovery was actually complete. I understand that an attorney does not have to file every motion a client writes or agree with every legal position a client takes. What I expect from appointed counsel is meaningful communication, an explanation of litigation decisions, diligent investigation of outstanding evidence, and an adequate defense regardless of whether the client personally hired the attorney. I am documenting my experience because these are pending criminal cases and these issues directly affect my ability to understand and participate in my defense. I have records of my communications and requests, and I hope these concerns are addressed. Jamaar has now resulted to saying I threatened him but can’t say what it was for some reason. Instead of just simply answering my questions Jamaar has now threatened me by saying he is going to tell the judge I’m incompetent in retaliation cause he doesn’t like how I talk to him. So of course he is withdrawing again.

My son was facing life in jail. Our family was devastated and scared. We chose Jack for his incredible knowledge, compassion and drive to get him the best outcome...and he did. We are all so grateful to him and his close staff that helped us navigate one of the hardest times in our family's life. He served my son well.

If you want an attorney who will actually fight for you, Jack is the attorney you want in your corner. I can’t say enough good things about Jack. I was extremely stressed and anxious when I came to him, and he immediately calmed me down and made me feel like I finally had someone in my corner who was truly going to fight for me and my legal situation.
