I am beyond pleased with the representation and support I received from this law firm, especially with Mari. My experience as a client of Lisa Hays started as professional as one could imagine. Her character was stellar, the imagery of professionalism and how she conducted herself was some point for the first two. After that point things changed. I soon found out she had individuals not licensed (a gentleman) and working on my case I became concerned and inquired about his position within the firm and how could this be ethical, she stated to me quoting: “If you want me to continue to work your case, you’ll let me my business and job and not worry about my staff”. As an U.S. Army Disabled Veteran Honorable discharged, my view on having her as representation concerned me. With the amount of money having already paid, and the timely manner of my case; I couldn’t hire another attorney and put stock (money) into this process. She failed to show for court, she failed to inform of a serious court date that altered my court order, and she failed to provide the court with details and documentation how my son’s mother was putting naked images of him as a baby on Facebook. Having gone to college to become a Social Worker, I knew this was illegal and immoral due to the amount of pedophiles within El Paso, Texas and in general. When you as a client go against the grain and do not agree in the process how “YOUR” case should go and what should be presented, watch out, all hell is coming against your case and she will drop you as a client without notice and professionalism. I highly consider NOT hiring someone who has no regard for your concerns and the health and welfare of your child. I do apologize. The gentleman that I spoke on, his name is Manny.

I rarely ever write reviews, but I wanted to share my experience for anyone looking for a lawyer like Lisa. From the very beginning, she guided me and my husband through our custody case with honesty, patience, and real compassion. She told us what to expect, what could happen, and never sugar-coated anything. That honesty helped us stay calm during one of the most stressful times in our lives.

One thing that really stood out was how reliable she and her office were. Her office always answered our calls, always got back to us, and never made us feel like we were bothering them. No matter what questions we had, big or small, she made sure we understood what was happening and why.

She fought for us in every way possible. Because of her hard work and dedication, we were able to win our case. I truly feel like I owe her my life, she didn’t just handle paperwork or show up to court, she protected our family when we needed it the most.

Hiring her was the best money we’ve ever spent. She took a very stressful and emotional situation and guided us through it step by step. I don’t know where we would be without her. She really is someone who cares about the families she helps, and anyone going through a custody matter would be lucky to have her.

Do not waste your money....
This lawyer is awful, she never helped me in my process when I hired her....
Always and consistently asking for money, and my case was never moving, long story short.... I spent 8 years to get divorced, because of lawyers, always asking the judge for continuance, and never show up in court to get my case moving just to keep asking for money, at the end after 8 years I ended up defending myself in court... don't recommend this lawyer, don't waste your money and time...
