You usually don't get an answer, but leave a brief descriptive voicemail and the area of practice you need help, if you know it. They did call back a week later with a date and time (of an hour or two long) to call back, it's 2 weeks away. You then have to hope you get through. Lengthy process. I have a feeling that by the time I talk to anyone, IF I do that is, my need for an attorney will be over. My landlord promised me first option to buy my home if he decided to sell, then he turned around and showed it to someone else 6 months later. I had it in writing. He moved quickly so I needed quick assistance. I might still get help but I have a feeling it's to late. The odd thing was that when they returned my call their first or second question was "do you still need help" which led me to the logical conclusion that they do this "not answer and call back a week later" on purpose. If you're told to call legal aid then I wish you luck.

No walk ins , only property matters and government assistance. They are understaffed. The answering service should state sorry we can't help with anything that may be of use.
