Best law office ever

This attorney, along with many others I’ve dealt with in San Bernardino family court, felt more focused on billing than actually helping clients. I paid around $7,000 and she only physically appeared in court once. Meanwhile, I was constantly billed for every tiny interaction including short email responses that took seconds to write. I understand COVID changed how courts operated, but even after changing attorneys, I realized the same problems seem common in family law: poor communication, vague billing, delays, and clients feeling completely abandoned while still getting charged nonstop. My advice to anyone hiring a family law attorney: monitor your invoices closely, request detailed billing regularly, document everything, and do not assume your attorney is personally invested in your outcome. At the end of the day, this is a business to them. Family court is already stressful enough. Clients deserve transparency, responsiveness, and actual advocacy not feeling like another invoice.
