I was facing a DUI charge with a BAC of .152. Thomas accepted my case and gave me a number of great recommendations to use as mitigation factors in my case. The prosecutor refused to dismiss or reduce the charges in my case. Thomas recommended we go to Jury trial rather than plead guilty to DUI charges. On the day of jury trial, after Thomas had filed a series of motions challenging the prosecutors case, the prosecutor folded! The prosecutor then stipulated to a Not Guilty verdict for the DUI charges, and I pleaded to a much lesser non-DUI charge. The judge then signed a Not Guilty verdict because of this stipulation with the prosecutor. The judge said she had never signed an Order like this, except for one of Thomas’ own previous cases. Even other attorneys in the court room approached Thomas to ask him how he had done this. Because of the Not Guilty order, Thomas also forced DMV to also find me Not Guilty. After my court case, he immediately emailed the Not Guilty order to his friend who is a DMV Manager at Sacramento DMV. The DMV Manager then immediately emailed Thomas a Not Guilty Verdict for DMV as well. We won in both courts! What meant even more to me, though, was that Thomas supported me not only as my attorney but also as a person. During one of the most difficult and stressful times in my life, he helped strengthen my hope and trust that this would workout for me throughout the process. I contacted Thomas in November the day after I got arrested for a DUI.

Fast forward to today, my final verdict with the court was that both my DUI charges were dismissed and I only received a wet reckless with only a 12 hour class and paying a $300 fine. No Jail time, no license suspension, and no other penalties.

The work I had put in during those months of waiting for my trial had paid off and I cannot express how glad I am Thomas had me start those meetings early on.
