Spencer became a colleague when I moved up here from another county. As I am closing in on retirement, I regularly refer people to him. Spencer is smart, reliable, respected by judges and lawyers, and pleasant to work with. Very disappointed with this attorney. My divorce was initiated Oct of 2018- retained Spencer August of 2021. Custody was already set at 50/50 so all I needed was property division. It’s March of 2026 and I’m still at ground zero. With a 25k bill plus the almost 8k I’ve already paid. Beyond disappointed because the only reason I retained him was because I was told he was a man of integrity. Which is exactly what I needed. He just recused himself from my case and I’m in EXACTLY the same position I was when I retained him.
