I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this law office. They submitted documents to immigration with incorrect information, which is a serious and unacceptable mistake given how important accuracy is in these cases.
Their fees also feel excessive for the level of service provided. It’s frustrating to pay so much while dealing with ongoing communication issues—it's nearly impossible to get the lawyer Shannon or paralegal Johanna on the phone.
I formally requested copies of all my records over 2 weeks ago and still haven’t received anything. To make matters worse, someone from the office responded saying they would follow up with the paralegal, but there has been no update since. It’s incredibly frustrating to be left in the dark like this.
Overall, the lack of attention to detail, poor communication, and unfulfilled promises make this office very difficult to recommend.

My husband and I hired this lawyer for my delayed immigration claim. They charged us almost 20K to proof that I was never married in my back country, but never said how. Then another 10K to file a mandamus. We paid partially 7K and there wasn’t any action. Their attorneys are always quitting and we were without designated attorney or paralegals. They ignored our emails or calls all the time. We fired Spar & Bernstein and hired another attorney in KC who is way cheaper and filed a mandamus which led us to get a green card. That’s all we had to do, but Spar & Bernstein confused us on purpose to make money on us. Please stay away from Spar & Bernstein.
