				Do not I repeat do not go through them. I started the us debt relief program and this is who was handling my debt. I was paying every 2 weeks into the program and my job closed so I had to move to another place making less money. I called to cancel and not only did they take all the money that was going to settle a debt for fees to them, now because I canceled I now owe Gitmeid for basically making phone calls to the credit person now I have to pay the debt they settled and also Gitmeid for there services. They sent like 100 bucks to the debt I owe and kept the rest for there service fees. Listen everyone you are paying more. I just called the place I owe the money to and they are allowing me to continue making payments to them with the same settlement offer they agreed with for this company and 100% of the money is going to the debt I owe. Just call these debt people yourself dont fall for this scam you will pay more.

				7/23/26 UPDATE: Received refund of money deducted from my account in error. Sounds like an issue inherent to their software system. (?) I'm glad I had money in my account to temporarily cover the draft until it was refunded. The rep who called me today seemed understanding and provided the clarity that would have been helpful to have from beginning to end of working with this company. If you choose to work with a debt "settlement" company, do your research. I have moved to working with a nonprofit debt REPAYMENT company.

Absolutely do not recommend working with this company to relieve you of your debt. I ended up pulling three of my creditors out of the program and going with a nonprofit debt repayment company. Gitmeid assured me no more autodrafts would process after one creditor was settled, however they did continue drafting from my checking account. Trying to get my money back.
