Normally I hate to leave a working mother a bad review, especially when we are the main providers for our families but the way Michelle De Los Santos fumbled and mishandled this case was unprofessional, classless, and very distasteful.

1)Michelle would go out of her way to contact a family member of mine, with whom she had a personal relationship with from church.
2)She would ask said family member call me to pass on her threats of filing a CPS complaint and "sending the sheriff to my home" .. but I'm not sure if Michelle thought I would open my door for a random server. In my mind I already expected the sheriff to serve me.
3)I then made a call to Michelle's office to ask her to stop reaching out to said family member bc it was NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS as I am 30 year old woman that pays ALL of her OWN BILLS.
4)Michelle then denied being in touch with my family stating it was only her client that she had been in contact with. Oh and also I was told I was talking to a "receptionist" during this conversation but im not too sure about that one. Nevertheless, as soon as I got off the phone call that same family member was then called and told that I had called up there screaming which makes no sense if you're representing someone in regards to my child, why would I give you more fuel for the fire? The childlike, illogical, inane lies were just ridiculous and it really blew my mind how she was making a mess of this case but at the same time, in the end, THAT worked in MY FAVOR!
5)DNA results were shared and of course never mentioned to me, never shared results either. Also, this was never mentioned to the courts. I am just appalled at her lack of understanding as a lawyer and as a mother.
6)She did not honor her confidentiality agreement with her client due to the fact she thought my family member had some type of influence on my decision. you know the devil is normally sitting in the first few pews though. I have since switched church homes, all bc of her harassment.
7)During this case that same family member of mine was hired to dog sit for Mrs. Santos(I guess they got really close as i gave them a lot to talk about) and luckily i have a pictures, recorded calls, texts, emails. If you find yourself in a similar predicament, RECORD EVERYTHING!!!
8)Her client was also told that i was going to do one thing and when he went to court he heard the truth, from the judge himself which is when he began piecing things together
9)I really do believe Mrs. Santos thought that I was slow or something. Maybe she thought I would submit instantly at the mention of CPS. It really gave me small town high school wanna be mean girl vibes. Michelle would also state numrous times that she only had her clients best interest in mind. I guess bc my son wasn't the one paying she didn't care if he was potentially put in harms way. And I will never back down nor will I forgive when it comes to my son. Not only was everything she tried to pull unprofessional but it was also essentially ineffective.
10)I told myself I would stop at 10 things but I could go on & on & on. Not only did I have to find a new church home but there was also irreparable damage done to that specific family member & I relationship, like we dont speak at all now. I get its hard taking care of a grown man and multiple kids. keeping up drama and mess to keep a client paying is pathetic and when you're not to bright you have to be careful bc sometimes you have no clue who you're up against. She's dishonest AF and she underestimated me completely.

*Nevertheless, everything that was attempted by Mrs. Santos failed and God did not let not a one of her weapons prosper. It don't get no better than that. Save your money, go buy a light bulb that is a tad bit brighter lol. I'm very happy with the legal outcome and I am NOT the client FYI. There are way better options out there! Her NOW EXclient is still in the same place he was before he hired her smh he got nowhere.

Michelle is very intelligent and communicative throughout all stages of the legal process. She exudes empathy and focuses on doing what’s right for the client vs what’s good for business. Highly recommend!
