Michael Sousa and his legal Victoria assisted me in the administration of my Aunt's Living Trust after she passed away in 2025. My aunt always spoke highly of Michael and I soon learned why she thought so highly of him. Michael is very easy to work with, kind, and compassionate, and very responsive. Michael is also a great attorney. Although I am an attorney, I live in another state. Michael helped me understand and comply with California estate law relative to trust administration. Michael truly cares about his clients and the outcome of the matter he is handling for you. To top it all off, Michael's fees were very reasonable! As I know from my own practice, it is hard to manage a law practice without a good legal assistant. Victoria is the best! I highly recommend them!

My parents had a trust with the Law offices of Michael P Sousa. My first contact with Mike was when my father died to draw up a Power of Attorney, Sadly there were many unscrupulous people that were trying to take advantage of my elderly mom and we needed to keep an eye over her financials and house. Several years later my father passed and I contacted Mike and that's when things kicked into gear. EIN for the trust, all the paperwork to get assets into the name of the trust, recordings with the County, you name it. All kinds of red tape that I wouldn't even have thought of. Mike is knowledgeable and very efficient. Victoria in the office is very helpful and accommodating. It also helps that Mike is a very pleasant easy to deal with person. His experience navigating all the unforeseen problems that occur during a pretty stressful time was valued and appreciated.
