I have been represented by Maurice Verrillo and his law firm for the past 6 years now. We have had a very involved and very lengthy family court case. Maurice helped me get placement of my child which in New York State is a very hard accomplishment to achieve. Through early mornings, late nights, and hours of hard work and dedication to me and my case we were able to achieve what seemed to be the unachievable. Maurice is a fantastic lawyer who understands the inner workings of law to an unprecedented degree. I have had many different lawyers in my lifetime and none of them compare to Maurice. From his compassion to practicing law, his moral compass, his belief in faith and overall just being an amazing family oriented compassionate human being. The interactions I’ve had with the office staff and the work they do behind the scenes has been tremendous. You call, email or reach out and someone’s always there to answer your questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner. I know that whenever I have a question, need help, or just need someone in my corner the law office of Maurice Verrillo will have my back and my best interests at the forefront of their agenda. The cost of doing business is fair for the degree of representation you receive. Worth every penny! I found my initial consultation to be not a good experience. He was rude and condescending superior acting avoid seriously you don’t need that behavior especially when you’re about to potentially give over valuable money to him to help you. It just doesn’t work that way. I have no idea why people have to be so miserable today wow.

He is a very knowledgeable and competent attorney with years of experience and genuine compassion. He has a high moral standard that drives him to fight for truth and your cause. He was with me every step of the way and encouraged me through a very difficult and grueling case. He is very wise, trauma informed, and professional. If you are looking for an attorney that will fight beside you, look no further, Mr. Verillo is the attorney you need.

Please do yourself a favor a find a different law firm to represent you. This place has more hidden fees than Verizon Wireless. My matter was resolved in the summer but yet I still receive bills every other month with a different fee. Nice guy but complete waste of money.

Would not recommend. I wish I represented myself. Waste of money. I had to clarify with the judge what I was asking for because Mr. Verillo just couldn’t understand after the multiple times explained. Very simple as well. The first family court call we had we had to reschedule because Mr Verillo was at a loss of words after we talked on the phone about our case and sat down together for 30 minutes before the meeting. Told the judge we needed more preparation time and a later date.the later date happens and I still had to clarify. Embarrassing and frustrating because I knew exactly what I wanted and explained multiple times but I thought an attorney would help me do it better then I could. I was very wrong. 1500.00 for nothing. If I could give 0 stars I would.
