I would strongly recommend staying away from this attorney. My experience with him was extremely frustrating, expensive, and disappointing. In my experience, the billing was excessive and the value of the legal work did not come close to justifying what I was charged. I repeatedly felt that I was paying significant amounts of money without getting the level of preparation, communication, or representation I expected from an attorney. What bothered me most was the way the financial side of the relationship was handled. After we moved on and hired another attorney, he charged us for work related to transferring the matter to the new attorney. Then, after we disputed what he was claiming we owed, he threatened to take us to small claims court. We paid the amount he demanded because we wanted to put the situation behind us. Even after that, he wrote to us again claiming that we owed him another $350 and essentially gave us the choice of paying it or going to court. At that point, it felt like the billing would never end. I came away feeling taken advantage of and deeply dissatisfied with how my money was being billed and spent. By the end, I had completely lost confidence in him and regretted ever hiring him. Hiring an attorney is already stressful enough. You should be able to trust that the person representing you is prepared, transparent, and professional. That was not my experience here. I would never hire him again, and based on my experience, I would tell friends and family to look elsewhere. Particular also the bookkeeper David Grossman likes to write the threatening emails for Lewis Levy who just runs a company that takes advantage of people with their threats of lawsuits. As I can see the many one star reviews people have the same issue as we did. Someone should look into this type of “shake down” law practice.

Received a threatening lawsuit demand letter of over $30,000 for unpaid wages allegedly owed to a hotel employee when my company does not own a hotel, has no employees, and I have never met or heard of his client. Chad needs to do a little research before striking businesses with hopes of some quick cash. The Florida Bar will be hearing from me.

I highly recommend you heed the negative reviews. Can't recommend this attorney for employment or contract related legal work. I was told I'd get a free consult, but turns out your conversation with the receptionist gathering intake information is that "consult", no legal advice, no answers, no actual consultation. I specifically came to them to advise me on a contract! What happened instead was a threat email sent to my former employer on my behalf, without giving me a chance to review or approve it first, despite being written in my voice. That email damaged relationships with people in my industry that I won't be able to rebuild. I did eventually get an interpretation of my contract, weeks later after several hard deadlines. But the negotiation itself could have been handled better. Timing and demands had already upset opposing counsel and parties. If you appreciate someone who will let you sign off before anything goes out under your name, look elsewhere.
