I reached out to Justin a few years back due to an MVA that happened while I was a pedestrian on a sidewalk. Justin and his team had the utmost professionalism and walked me through the entire process of everything that would occur throughout the legal process. His team handled every medical bill with the insurance carriers, worked hand in hand with all my physicians to ensure I was getting the appropriate care for my condition that was caused my the accident, and most importantly, came to a resolution with the insurance carriers that was extremely favorable for my family and I. Without Justin and his team, I would have been swamped in a medical nightmare with bills and insurance companies.

I've had the pleasure of working with Justin and his firm twice. The first involved my aging parents, who needed representation in a negligence action. Though I was not actively practicing, as an attorney myself, I had high standards for the counsel that would represent my folks. Having researched similar cases, I placed a call to an attorney's office who had recently won a significant victory in a similar situation and was referred to Justin.

My sister and I met with Justin before deciding whether or not to introduce him to our folks. Our Mom has Alzheimer's, and our Dad was quite frail, having just experienced a major injury. Much like they were of us, we were then and still are fiercely protective of our folks and our tight knit little family. The attorney we would connect with our parents would not only have to have exception knowledge and skill, but would need to demonstrated compassion, and be able to grasp the heart of what we really wanted to achieve (in our case, to make it possible for us to find a house in our hometown, move everyone in, and care for our parents ourselves). Justin seemed to fit our criteria in spades, and we came away from that initial meeting sharing a gut feeling that this was our guy.

Justin and our Dad hit it off right away. He treated our mom like an adult worthy of kindness and respect--never leaving her out of conversations and always asking her opinion. That in and of itself spoke volumes to us about the way he approached things and his character, as we had seen far too many people brush her aside because of her Alzheimer's. While our Dad was kind to most everyone, earning his trust, let alone admiration, were not necessarily easy things to do, particularly when it came to matters involving his family. Justin did both and our Dad was left with the same gut feeling that we had found the right attorney. That would prove to be absolutely true.

Justin put a huge amount of work into our case and we came away with a creative and impressive result that allowed for us to proceed with our plans to unite three generations of our family under one roof. That, in turn, allowed for us to spend precious time with one another while we were still able.

In the midst of that case, I was sideswiped in a collision, and my car was totaled. I initially opted not to pursue a claim for injuries, as I was concerned they would be too difficult to differentiate from previous injuries and was very protective of my time and energy.

At my Dad’s urging, knowing Justin was truly looking out for the interests of our family as a whole and trusting his opinion implicitly, I asked him if he felt a claim was worth pursuing even knowing the circumstances and my desire to minimize time spent on anything that necessarily took me away from my folks. He without hesitation said yes due to the severity of my injuries and promised to minimize the need for my active involvement as much as possible. I agreed.

Today I can say quite confidently that while I never doubted his commitment or ability to minimize my involvement while maximizing results, I’m blown away by the result he achieved for me. True to his word, I was only needed for a minuscule amount of time, yet he was able to achieve two impressive settlements. As the case came to a head at the end of last year, I unexpectedly lost my father. Not only was I totally crushed and overwhelmed by things that needed to be done, I wasn’t able to think terribly clearly, and didn’t much trust my own judgment. I spent a grand total of an hour of my time devoting it to the case after that loss, only to have Justin come through with exactly the result for which we had hoped thanks to the incredibly smart and strategic way about which he went about assembling the facts of the case.

Grateful is an understatement. I know my Dad would feel the same. Like my Dad, Justin is a very good judge of character, talented at reading people, and just an impressive all around human being. Add to that his obvious legal prowess and there’s a combination that is very hard to beat.
