Mr. Katz came through for me at a difficult time, in a big way, and with stellar results. I was served with a banker's box of documents by my ex-wife on Christmas Eve 2023. It was so heavy that the process server apologized to me, that she'd never seen anything like it and felt bad for me. The process server. I was living in New Orleans. My ex and two kids were living in Brooklyn. Our marriage and divorce had been in California, ten years before. My son was 19, my daughter was 17.

The papers asked for $500,000 in various forms of support under New York law, and noticed me for an emergency hearing scheduled for about ten days later, January 3.

Mr. Katz was extremely busy. If you look at his docket on the court's website, you'll see he handles a lot of cases. But he took the time to hear the facts, look through the papers, ask the needed questions, and get the needed information from me. During the Christmas holiday.

A charming beast in the courtroom!

It’s the best way that I can describe Mr. Joshua Katz after my experience with his representation. My family court case was complicated. On the calendar for 4 years. Suffered through the Covid-19 shut down of the court system and continued into 2024 with no resolve in sight. I fired my previous counsel and hired Mr. Katz! His clear understanding of the judicial system and his ability to relate it to his clients’ “hurdle at hand” is remarkable. He is well versed in his craft and is bold about the persistence needed to advocate that for his clients. He did it for me. 4 months, 2 court appearances. Settled. Done!
