I am extremely grateful for everything Jonathan did for me throughout one of the most difficult periods of my life. My case turned into a nearly two-year-long legal battle involving divorce, child custody, a false DVRO case, and even criminal charges. There was a tremendous amount at stake, especially when it came to my children and my future. From the beginning, Jonathan was professional, knowledgeable, and determined to fight for me. He took the time to understand my situation and made sure I had someone in my corner when things became extremely stressful and overwhelming. He handled my case with confidence and never backed down when things got difficult. After almost two years of fighting, I am incredibly happy with the results. Awful attorney will rake you for all your money, charge you for things that you are not to be charged for does not submit bills like an attorney does on a monthly basis everything he does unethical and he should be disbarred honestly not only did he get money out of me for her retainer and during him representing my daughter he put a lien on her home telling her that it was a normal practice for all attorneys which was not true. He always pushed back court dates constantly and we went to court three times the first time was valid the second the other two times were pushed back we never went back to court he had excuse after excuse going to see his son baseball or basketball game or whatever it was the bottom line is he is a crook he should not Ever represent anybody and I can't even believe he still has a license to practice. At the end of the case which he did not get anything done except a restraining order we could have done that on our own anyhow he ended up getting 35,000 for that lean when her house was being sold because he knew it was being sold and kept checking with the Escrow Company he was a horrible sneaky man that does not help his clients whatsoever at all shame on him!

At first, Jonathan LaFrance appeared like he knew what he was doing, and I trusted him during one of the most difficult and vulnerable periods of my life after my divorce. Unfortunately, my experience with him quickly became extremely disappointing. I felt his performance as my attorney was far below what I expected from someone handling a serious family law matter. My case did not seem to move forward at the pace it should have, and I often felt like I was paying for activity rather than meaningful progress. I was billed for numerous calls, texts, and conversations, including conversations that I felt were unrelated to my case, such as discussions about his personal life. I was also asked to prepare my own documents and write portions of my own filings. The paperwork I received contained mistakes and typos that I expected would have been caught with proper review. Dates were repeatedly pushed back, and I constantly felt like I had to chase updates and push for action. He delayed 3 of my court dates. During a time when I needed an attorney who would provide direction, urgency, and strong representation, I instead felt overwhelmed and taken advantage of. The amount of money I spent did not match the level of service, progress, or results I received. After reading other reviews, I noticed similar concerns from other clients regarding communication, delays, and dissatisfaction with the value provided. While I can only speak for my own experience. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Jonathan LaFrance.

This guy is DIRTY. He will lengthen the divorce and custody process to squeeze every penny he can out of your pocket. He is UNETHICAL AND UNPROFESSIONAL. He should lose his practice and license at the bare minimum.

Jonathan does not prioritize the best interests of children. Instead, his actions actively support parental alienation, causing unnecessary distress and harm. He completely failed to uphold ethical standards or do what is right for the family. I cannot recommend a firm that prioritizes strategic wins over the well-being of vulnerable children.
