Mr. Bell is shamelessly defending an individual who stabbed me with a knife and has refused to pay rent. Mr. Bell deleted interrogatory where his client admitted holding the knife, and was sanctioned by the court for it. There is currently a motion to vacate the judgment, as well as an appeal pending — this is only the beginning of the case. His client stabbed me with a knife and admitted to doing so on police body camera footage. Despite this, Mr. Bell continues to prevent that body camera footage from being viewed by the court. I received the following email from Mr. Bell today:"I have seen that false and defamatory Google review you placed on my listing this afternoon, June 2, 2026. If that review is not removed within the next 2 hours. YOu will be sued tomorrow morning for defamation. " When I transferred the police camera footage to the appeals court and discussed the matter with the court clerk, Mr. Bell was included in the group email. Rather than responding to the group, he began harassing me separately and individually. Mr. Bell, If you continue to engage in harassment rather than substantive legal argument supported by applicable statutes and case law, I will have no choice but to seek a civil harassment restraining order against you. They're really something else; anyone can hire them. A friend hired a law firm to do something before returning to China. The firm said it was finished and asked me to pick it up, which I did. The next day, they called again, saying it wasn't finished and wanted me to return it. I called back, and the lawyer's exact words were: "Hello, that thing isn't finished yet, please return it." "You didn't check it properly before asking me to take it. Where do you live? Can you find a nearby place for me to deliver it?" "Either return it or mail it." "Who's paying for mailing it?" Then the lawyer hung up. When I called again, I was transferred to their assistant. My friend also said that this firm originally hired another lawyer for this document, but that lawyer got sick and went back to China, delaying the process for two months, not answering calls or replying to WeChat messages. Then this lawyer was given the task, but before it was finished, they asked me to take it and then, thinking I was always available, asked me to return it. The document itself wasn't difficult, but the refusal to communicate and the complete lack of apology are enough to warrant a 5-star review, because a 1-star review wouldn't even be displayed. Anyone can hire them; there are plenty of reliable law firms out there.
