I am incredibly grateful to have had Janice Cho as my divorce lawyer. She is truly exceptional—empathetic, practical, and very responsive. Janice was always easy to reach and promptly addressed my concerns, which made an often overwhelming process much smoother.

Very dissapointed, she cared more about money then solving my case. Did not put much effort into my case, but focused on invoicing. Stay far away from Janice Cho, very unethical and unfair.

I am happy to write this review for Janice Cho and her staff. I was recommended to Janice by a court reporter friend who had seen Janice in action in court and was impressed with her skills. She felt she would be a strong advocate for me. And she was right.
My relationship with Janice began in 2020 when I was seeking a divorce from my husband. We met via a two hour zoom meeting. For the duration of my relationship with Janice and her office, all interactions were done via Zoom, email or text. I never had to travel to her (which was nice because she is in another city).
Janice and her office staff were always professional, kind, informative and prompt. I worked a lot with the paralegals in her office to help keep costs down, but Janice was always available if I needed her. They kept me updated regularly, answered all of my questions and concerns and generally put my mind at ease during this difficult time in my life. Except for providing them all of the information they needed (financials, properties, etc.) there was not a lot I had to do.
Many months into our working relationship, a family emergency necessitated I put the divorce proceedings on hold for a long time. A year actually. Not only was this acceptable to Janice, but her support during this time meant the world to me and has not been forgotten.
Janice’s office bills monthly and her invoices are always transparent and easy to understand. On those months where there was not a a lot of work done, she would roll that bill into the following month which I appreciated. I was able to pay electronically which was super convenient. All of my documents were downloaded to Dropbox so that I could access them at any time.
You may think all of this is standard. And it should be. But I can tell you, without going into detail, that my husband had the opposite experience with his attorneys. So I feel fortunate to have found Janice and have her represent me in this proceeding. Divorce is rarely a happy affair, but thanks to Janice and her staff, she made it as pain free as possible and for that I am very grateful.
