My family and I are beyond greatful for everything Mr. Garfinkle did for us. Last week we concluded an almost four year process to conclude my brother's case. His case was very complex, he had everything stacked against him. He showed up to court more times than I can count, while he was also negotiating and standing up for my brother behind the scenes. He is always just a text or call away if you have any questions. He is the one that personally takes care of you, you don't have to go through other staff members to get an answer. Hal Garfinkel is not a good attorney simply because he is not a man of his word. I was fighting an agg UUW back in 2017 with a foid card. The case went on until the early summer of 2019 and he successfully helped me with getting first time gun offenders probation I give him that. Now the deal was sweet because all I had to do was complete about 50 hours of community service, and once completed the felony charge would be vacated. The problem with Hal is he told me once the case was resolved he would not charge me to get my foid card back. However, a while after the case I reached out to him to see if he would process my reinstatement and he told me that I would have to pay him $3,500, well that right there was absurd to say the least I’m thinking. To make a Long story short I contacted the ISP and emailed them my papers from the court and in one week I received a new foid card in the mail. All Hal cares about is money and not the best interest for ALL his clients.
