I highly do not recommend this firm or attorney based on my personal experience. My family and my loved ones hired this firm to represent me while I was in ICE custody during an extremely urgent and sensitive immigration matter. Before the agreement was signed, my people clearly explained how serious and time-sensitive my situation was and asked whether the firm was willing to take on the case under those circumstances. They said yes, explained how they intended to proceed, and my people trusted them and moved forward. I was communicating with my people every day while I was detained, so I was receiving regular updates about what was happening with my case. Unfortunately, after the agreement was signed, the communication with this firm became extremely poor and frustrating. My people repeatedly called the firm, sometimes multiple phone numbers, sent emails, and asked to speak directly with the attorney. Many times, they were told that the attorney would call back, but the call never came. There were even occasions when my people had difficulty getting through from their own numbers but were able to reach the firm when calling from another number. This happened while we were desperately trying to get updates about an emergency case. I personally requested a private, one-on-one conversation with my attorney multiple times, but that conversation never happened. I was the client, I was the person detained, and I believe I should have had the opportunity to speak directly with the attorney handling my case. There were also serious concerns about a federal filing. My people were told that the filing had been submitted on September 2, but the court records showed a September 8 filing date, and my people were informed by the court that it was received on September 9. We repeatedly asked for proof showing what had been submitted on September 2, but so far, no documentation has been provided to establish that submission. Because communication was already so poor, this created even more confusion and uncertainty about what had actually been done on my case. Recently, when my people were expressing their concerns about how the case was handled and the lack of communication, the attorney stated that a client should not expect an attorney to “babysit” them. I found that statement extremely upsetting and unprofessional, especially when I had repeatedly requested to speak with my own attorney and never received that opportunity. I understand that immigration cases can be extremely difficult and that an attorney cannot guarantee a particular outcome. That is not the reason for my review. My concern is how I felt my case was handled: the lack of communication, the difficulty obtaining updates, the lack of direct communication with my attorney, and the uncertainty surrounding important filings. From my perspective, I felt that my case was being neglected and that my situation was not being addressed with the level of attention and communication that I expected. Unfortunately, my immigration case ended up finishing very badly for me, and the experience as a whole was extremely painful and disappointing. One more time: I highly do not recommend this firm or attorney. I warn you. If you ever decide to hire them, that is your decision, but make sure you get clear updates, written confirmations, proof of filings, and documentation of everything being done on your case. Otherwise, save yourself the stress and go somewhere else. For these reasons, I requested a refund. I do not believe it is fair for me to have been treated this way throughout such an important and stressful situation and then be unable to receive even a portion of the fees or retainer that was paid. My request for a refund is not because I expected a guaranteed result. It is because of my experience with the communication and handling of my case.

I am sharing my personal experience so others can understand exactly what happened to me and my family. I hired this attorney for a very serious and urgent immigration matter involving a loved one who was detained by ICE. Before signing the contract, I clearly explained the urgency and was assured that they could act immediately. I was specifically told that they would file a TRO and habeas corpus petition and take the necessary legal action. After I signed the contract and paid the money, the communication became extremely poor. I repeatedly sent documents, evidence, and information they needed. I sent multiple emails asking what had been done and asking for proof of filing, a filing receipt, confirmation from the court, a case number, and the name of the assigned judge. Instead of receiving clear answers, I constantly had to chase them for information. I was told that the filings had already been submitted on September 2nd. However, when I contacted the federal court myself on September 10th, I was told that something under my loved one’s name had only been received the previous day. The attorney later emailed me saying that her name had just appeared in the system. I checked the court’s system myself and saw that the filing was actually dated September 8th, not September 2nd as I had been told. That is extremely concerning to me. After repeatedly demanding proof and getting angry on the phone because I could not get straight answers, the filing was finally submitted. I genuinely believe that if I had not continued demanding proof of filing and confirmation from the court, this matter may not have been acted on until after my loved one was deported. Unfortunately, she was deported. She was told there was no attorney filing or court case on record preventing her removal. The consequences of this delay were devastating to my family. The lack of communication was also unacceptable. After they received my money, getting a response became extremely difficult. I called the firm multiple times from my own phone and nobody answered. I eventually called from another phone number that they did not recognize, and they answered. I personally experienced this, and it is one of the reasons I feel compelled to warn others. In my opinion, this was extremely negligent and raises serious concerns about legal malpractice and professional responsibility. When someone is paying an attorney to handle an urgent immigration matter involving a person in ICE custody, you should not have to repeatedly beg for basic information, proof that filings were made, or confirmation that the attorney is actually taking action. I am now requesting a full refund and will be pursuing the appropriate avenues regarding my concerns about how this case was handled. Again: I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ATTORNEY OR THIS FIRM. If you are considering hiring them, please do your research, advocate for yourself, demand actual proof of every filing, and seriously consider going somewhere else. Based on my experience, once they have your money, you may regret your decision.
